I've now found a bunch of photos I took on the day, pleasantly surprised with some that despite holding on with one hand to a rail on a churning chase boat, and holding the somewhat heavy camera in the other, I had the instinctive horizon to within 0.5 degrees, often... or quite close.

I just found them on another PC, I might pick out some to upload later. It was a great day out on the water.

So again I think the Viaduct classic boats display this weekend will be inspiring to visit.


A coda to the fate of the original boat... I'd last heard that it was going to be restored.
