just finished the first four episodes (available now from your favourite alternative sources ) and it is superb ! if you loved the original you will love this. david lynch is just as capable as ever, in equally engaging and befuddling the viewer. take note fellow old timers like ridley scott and martin scorsese et al who have lost the plot. and the haunting angleo badalamenti theme has been left untouched in the new opening credits

This Washington Post piece was in the NZ Herald on Sat - the real life murder that inspired Twin Peaks. Ghoulish but interesting

Experimemntal ambient noise group interpretation of Twin Peaks. A bit confronting on first listen but the essence is all there.

I just love that theme song. Was the perfect accompaniment to the show... Alas, I'm shying away from the reboot as I fear they can only tarnish a beautiful piece of televisual history.
'Oh Johnny, you're so pessimistic!' Cry the die hard! Case in point kids, The X-Files reboot. Did anyone see the one with that bloody fool Rhys Darby in it? Stomach turning.

x-files wasn't so much a reboot but extended death throes... twin peaks 2017 is much better, well worth a look if you liked the original. there's a mysterious glass box watch kyle maclachlan play three coopers. and hear david lynch on cossacks.
