The “Trade Me-ometer” seems to indicate the Yamaha disk changers are still quite popular. Buyers seem to want about $300 for them and often get about that if they are determined.
Changers seem to have fallen out of favour in the “audiophile” bracket but they’re likely just as good as most of the offerings.
My first CD was a Technics 6 disk stack changer (perhaps I was upsold). Must pull it out and have a listen one day.

Handier on the front. Lost count of all the scratched up rear USB, HDMI ports seen on used offerings. A friend had a Pioneer 300 disc changer, pretty sure when he moved that on it still a some discs trapped inside.

I think they look a bit ugly open and covers never seem to be provided. I would likely have favourites on a usb which would stay plugged in so a bit ugly sitting out the front. Must say my Technics never missed a beat and a stacker mechanism would be reasonably tricky I would think.

My Alpine car stackers were always iffy but I'd make room for one of these

I don't think I've ever owned a multi disk changer 🤔
Only a dual auto reverse cassette deck, used for tape dubbing.
