I have found Cowan Audio Services very good.
He's in Lower Hutt
and is currently recapping a couple of my Cyrus II amps.
Previously he has partially re-capped my Sansui 5000x and replaced the 5 way speaker selector. Still going strong.

His facebook page says he's not got a backlog at the moment so if you have projects you have been sitting on now might be a good time.
