Hello, I removed the old fuse of this tube amplifier,but there’s no indication of how many Amperage it was,So I’m looking for someone who also have such an amplifier or who’s has knowledge of it and knows what fuse I may use,how much A? Thanks by advance,Strosse,Belgium

Assuming you have a 230-240 volt supply, a 2 1/2 amps would be about right. If you have a 110 volt supply, double it to 5 amps. If you want to be safe (230-240 volts), try 2 amps. I have a 845 SE (remember that Class A amps draw maximum current all the time) which hasn't blown a 2 amp fuse. Better to be safe than sorry.

Hi;- It's usual that a fuse has the V and A markings on it, on the metal ends, sides of the cylinder. You may well need a magnifying glass as well as spectacles, but have another look! Other than that, searching on the amp shows specs of 300 or 380 VA at max power. Since Belgium is on 230V AC like NZ, the latter 1.65 amps, then allow for some inrush current at turn-on, hmm. Then is it a quick acting or slow-blow fuse? The latter might have a coil instead of a straight wire inside? Coincidentally, this amp is also mentioned in another thread here, darklantern.proboards.com/thread/336/valve-amp-tutorial-tubes-101Perhaps not realised in those discussions that it is a "push-pull SE amplifier", a unique topology. So if Graham is still the owner of one, perhaps he could also look at its fuse? But magnification, look at yours closely again. Maybe 2A? Fuses can take some time to blow, even fast ones. Agree with above, try 2 to 2 1/2 A. I’d possibly use a slow blow fuse. Marking would be T2A or T2.5A. T is Thermal. As valve amps may have a bit of inrush current when you switch them on to charge up the power transformer flux and power supply capacitance, a quick blow fuse may blow at switch-on. ‘Push pull SE’ hmmm.. Reading some literature, it’s most likely push pull with class A bias.
