Not the best titles in the series to represent 70 years of MLP,
No particularly rare title,
So why bother ?

I thought we established that half does mastering was a crock anyway!
The Mussorgsky and Stravinsky are supposed to be fine versions.
Which titles do you think they should do?

The slow speed records are just a way the vinyl disk builders can extort more money for no more gain at the delivery end..but I dear say there will be people who disagree with that thinking 100%

Six that would make a better 70th present
Ballet for Band SR90256
Bizet Carmen suite - Paray SR90001
Hanson - The Composer and His Orchestra SR90175
Hi-Fi a la Espanola SR90144
Respighi - Brazilian Impressions SR90153
Prokofiev Love for Three Oranges SR90006
**Edited to include catalogue numbers
Some re-issues

I bow to your superior knowledge, as I not very familiar with most of those titles.
I've do have a MLP reissue of Frederick Fennell, Eastman-Rochester Pops – Hi-Fi A La Espaňola And Popovers.

I have a few CDs too, The initial digital releases were supervised by Wilma Cozart Fine, wife of original recording engineer Bob Fine, and they sound superb ! Harry Pearson of TAS thought they were good and one or two were even better than the average LP copy.
MLPs are right up there with RCA Living Stereo, EMI ASD, Decca SXL etc as the best in classical recordings.
