I thought I'd offer this on here before it went on TM. Could be a fun lockdown project!
I happen to have a complete (almost) parts kit for a Whammy headphone amplifier. The only thing that is missing is a couple of 1N4004-T rectifier diodes, I thought I had 6 but there are only 4. Shouldn't be a problem to source, they are only a few dollars at Jaycar.
This is a Wayne Colburn (Pass Labs) design.
The same PCB/components that I used for my build here:
darklantern.proboards.com/thread/2773/whammy-headphone-amplifier
I purchased all these parts thinking that I might end up building one for Dad but they are now surplus...
Parts are good quality, Panasonic FC, Elna Silmic II caps, Vishay metal film resistors etc.
The official build thread is here
www.diyaudio.com/forums/pass-labs/317803-whammy-pass-diy-headphone-amp-guide.html
I will also provide the BOM which I was working to which includes all of Waynes notes etc.
Happy to let this go for $290 which is what it all cost me minus shipping.
