<ahem!> www.ticketmaster.co.nz/vangoghaliveworks just as well! ;=})
Also see: with trailer at end of page.
But thanks for the alert! I vaguely recalled hearing/reading about it some time ago, but the above gives a far better impression than I'd had from whatever it was then!

Thanks for the responsive edit;- makes the first part of my post redundant, but I'm glad you took off all the redundant tracking data &etc. (So many people hastily copy/paste without realising that they're including that, especially from Facebook &etc. on all sorts of blogs!)
So drilling down into Ticketmaster, basic $34.90 adult entry. I'll keep it in mind... thanks again;-
I used to paint in oils myself, won a couple of prizes, but dropped out of art school ... so am interested.
Cheers! ;=}))

Attended the Christchurch event at the Airforce Museum, 1 Mar - and glad my wife persuaded me to go. It was brilliant. (And just as well she booked a timeslot, as covid 2 restrictions limited attendees). Enjoy the show colleagues!

Actually I recall seeing, viewing, a Van Gogh Sunflower, an original, in Munich, maybe at the Neue Pinakothek, in I think 2004, my only NH trip. What astonished me was the thickness of the daubs, really 3D, a highlight was a really thick squeeze of oil paint.
You don't get that sensation viewing a 2D art book, or, I dare say, a projected video image.
Still, it looks like a nice production, but looking at the sponsors or associates ... Porsche, others ... It does seem that money is being made hawking his works to the public once again, when he was broke in his own lifetime. Yet again balancing that perhaps more people will be introduced to his work, and even so likely an enjoyable, if sold, experience.
The Munich galleries were free on Sundays.

They had a bunch of his on display at the orsee in Paris when we were there a few years back. Fantastic to see such well known paintings in the flesh. The colours were fantastic. Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
