Due to demand, some snaps of the yellow beasty...
Yellow is my 2015 Renault Megane RS265, orange is the new 2020 RS280.
Cars are similar yet different: old is direct, compromised; new is more refined, softer, less angry.

I saw something similar up here on Sun - next time I'll stop, take a pic.

My Leaf is arguably less ugly than that

Did a Millennial design that Toyota? It’s annoying just to look at it... I bet it makes a whiney sound too.

Definately more function than form but I've had a chance to drive one a couple of times and it functions really well.
Being a 3 cylinder it actually has a nice little growl to it, reminded me of the old Charade turbos.

The Yaris would slot straight in here, very European looking. I like the 3 cyl ‘mini V6’ sound. A little quicker than the old Pug, Cartridgeguyonline? VW just released the ID.3 here, we’ve seen a few driving around the hood. It looks a little over-styled to me, just to make a point of it being electric. 0-62mph in 7.3 sec, 340 mile range (in the top version), not bad for a family car.

VW are still trying to sort out software issues with the ID3
The GR Yaris was developed in EU and will only be sold in Japan, EU, Aus/NZ.
The other great little driving machine is the latest Ford Fiesta ST, another 3 pot turbo, not as hot as the Toyota but for $40k new, you're not going to find a better hot hatch.

Loads of Fiestas here, the ST is nicely detailed and satisfyingly nimble. Big doors though, hard to open in the carpark. I thought the Golf was more refined and about as fast. The new Honda e is here too, it’s a fab looking car! Not sure about the side mirrors being cameras with LCD screens each end of the dashboard. Limited range too, only 137 miles.
