A heads up, TVNZ Duke, Weds nights..... Watch on demand: www.tvnz.co.nz/ondemand/megafactoriesI caught a bit of tonight's Porsche factory, looks worthwhile, with some track footage of various 911s. Note - the Lamborghini episode has only 1 day left to watch, if interested!

I'd like them to do one on Honda City in Thailand. The plant that makes the EU20 generators there pops them off the end of the production line at the rate of one every 20 seconds.

there was one on the porsche factory making new 911's and the bmw mini factory.
both had a common fact - every car they made was different, no two ever had the same options .

Ha, Fisher and Paykel were doing that in Mosgiel 20 years ago. That was back in the days when this country used to actually make something apart from coffee....( but don't get me started)

Pretty impressive isn't it. I can't even take one out of its box in 20 seconds. Apparently they make the worlds production of them, which sorta explains how they have dominated that market really.
