Spotted this at Rialto Cinemas, in Akld, just opened last week...
This 2019 film (80 mins), entitled after a song by The Clash, is a doco about the Rock Against Racism (RAR) movement in UK in the late 70s.
Bands prominent at the time were - The Clash, Selector, X-Ray Spex, Tom Robinson, Steel Pulse
Modern Films - " ...blends fresh interviews with queasy archive footage to recreate a hostile environment of anti-immigrant hysteria and National Front marches. As neo-Nazis recruited the nation’s youth, RAR’s multicultural punk and reggae gigs provided rallying points for resistance. "
The Guardian - " smart, spirited feature debut "
Screen Daily - " The treasure trove of archive is variously appalling and inspiring. "
Rotten Tomatoes have a 100% review rating for it (from 8 reviews).
(I never knew that Eric Clapton was obscenely racist at one point in the 70s & supported Enoch Powell, the infamous British far-right politician.)
