Hi all, Recently got a Cyrus amp that came with speaker cables. Want to make new cables for it, but discovered that it uses 3mm banana plugs instead of the usual 4mm type. I've tried purchasing of eBay, but have either not received the item, or as today, got a package of 4mm plugs. Does anyone know where I could buy some. Alternatively I could modify the amp for 4mm sockets, but there isn't much space for them. Cheers.

They were called BFA plugs, Linn-Naim had them too, a local source? Hmmm.....

bfa ? i've had a few, audioquest and the ubiquitous chinese nakamichi. ive opened them up to make them fit better so conceivably they could also be compressed to make a smaller pin.

Thanks peeps but I don't think you are correct. I have some 4mm BFA plugs and there is NWOE that they will fit into the 3mm sockets on the Cyrus. Might be time for some open heart surgery.
