No Stax SR-009S? They are my fave, followed by Focal Utopia.

I got my LCD3's from deano1974 so he's biased against them!
 I want to hear a pair of ABYSS headphones. I think I'll be able to rest in peace after that experience... abyss-headphones.com/pages/abyss-ab-1266-phi-reference-headphone

Depends on mood and music.
Still have a soft spot for the Grado RS1 but in hindsight best overall probably the Stax 007 combo I had a long term loan of. The LCD3 are a good all rounder but let down a bit by weight and comfort so of my current phones the Oppo PM1 gets the nod.

Been a while since I've plugged in the Grado RS1's. Great for a bit of a modern music.
Don't use headphones for a long time at home so the comfort of the LCD3's is fine. Most headphone listening is on the move, so in ears rule in that aspect.

Forgot to mention the Abyss, the 1266 Phi is awesome too! Nothing quite like the bass depth and power on them. They take a bit of driving though.
