Ray KIMBER interviewed by Cynthia the Audio Belle, about how KIMBER KABLE started in the mid-70s, Ray's family background, musical tastes, cable construction, WBT connectors & Kimber's new record & tape production project. " When you braid a cable, (it) lowers series induction, which makes it sound higher fidelity..."

There's a definate irony to the audio quality in parts of that interview.
Have tried a few different brands over the years. Mostly the usual suspects, Audioquest, Wireworld, Nordost & Antipodese. The first Kimber cables I tried were the Monacles, they made the biggest difference I've heard from a cable and just sounded right in my sytem. Athough there is good argument to having a mix of different brand cables I've slowly added more Kimber (as they became available second hand), liked how they sound and now have them almost exclusively from start to finish.

it's an unstated rule that interviews with audio designers will have bad audio. likewise, videos about home theater usually have appalling video quality.

Kimber 4TC/8TC was the last commercial cable I bought before embarking on making my own.
