Anyone using this product. I have been using the Zerodust cleaner for a few years but I'm not totally convinced that it's cleaning as well as I'd like. The DS AUDIO ST-50 Stylus cleaner is rather expensive but I'd be prepared to give it a shot for a worth while gain. I'm not over keen on using brushes or other methods as my eyes and hands are not what they were. The ability to just lower the arm/stylus into the cleaner is appealing.

I use Zerodust (and Moongel). Vinyl Passion Dustbuster is another one of these gel type sticky pads at a cheaper price than the Zerodust.
Reading between the lines of, it looks like the extra price for the ST-50 is all in the fancy box, rather than the cleaning efficacy. But I've not tried one to compare.

I'm a cheap bugger so I use Magic Eraser cut into small cubes. Buy it from your local supermarket. There's lots of chat on line about how effective this is for cleaning your stylus as the little claws pull the gunge off. You can carefully drag it forward under the stylus or if you don't trust yourself just lower the stylus into it Use it dry, don't wet it. Works for me.

I use one. Just 'dip' the stylus a few timwes into it, the melamine 'loops' supposedly scrape the stylus clean (see pic). I never move the foam. Occasionally a brush is necessary to remove dust around the top of the sylus shank, but the contact tip should be kept clean. (A high-end stylus width at its contact tip might be only 20-40 microns across.)
