Ive been through a couple of carts over the last few months and none have hit the spot quite like the Phasemation PP500 Ive just set up on my PTP Lenco. Has great tone and timbre with a vivid midrange. More meat on its bones than a Benz or Shelter. Doesn't have a splashy, brittle treble which is most welcome.

The AU price cf US/EU seems a bit like Lyra prices in NZ, which makes them even better value for money in Oz.
e.g RRP AU$3200 cf about US$3000

Although Phasemation measure compliance at 100hz which gives them a compliance of 14 @ 10hz they work on heavy arms no problem. My arm is 16.5g and another user I know has a PP1000 on an EMT arm at 32g without issue.
They are tricky to align with the cantilever sitting under the larger than usual body.

Tricky to align but cantilever more protected than a naked one 😊

With a quality cartridge & rectangular body, you should be able to use the body to assist alignment.
