I think they are in Melbourne ? I travel to Melbourne somewhat regularly as my eldest boy lives there, but unfortunately I get very easily distracted by all the record shops. They are in Sydney too.

Its a nice looking device & for the money I would go mono block which would then produce workable power output.

Well Addicted To Audio's site has gone live and they are advertising for staff... in what capacity? Who knows? Retail staff for a shop? A rep to sell their other brands to retailers for their distribution company? Either way, interesting.

John DARKO reckons the SCHIIT Aegir (US$799) powering a pair of KLIPSCH RP-600M loudspeakers, is a synergistic combination.... " A silky top end... (it) better inks tonal colours (than the more powerful SCHIIT Vidar amp) " " A really good entry-level system. "

The KLIPSCH RP-600M are 96dB/W @ 8ohms, very high sensitivity & DARKO likely needs only 0.5Wrms/ch to receive 85dB average SPL at his listening seat (assuming listening distance of say 3.6m). SCHIIT Aegir is good for only 20W/ch @ 8ohms, but 90dB/W loudspeakers would be sensitive enough for 85dB average listening SPL, requiring only ~2W/ch av. power & with 10x (20dB) dynamic amp power in reserve. (Using the handy SPL Calculator.)
