proving that I can't hold onto everything forever I'm placing my Yamamoto HA-02 headphone amp up for sale. Will be listing it on TM this weekend. Sorry no photos at this time but there are plenty online. Amp is in as new condition and comes with the colour info sheet and Audio Technica Y cable so you can connect a mobile device. Also comes with 4 sets of tubes. I'd imagine the ones in there would last for years. As a bonus I'm adding a pair of Audio Technica ATHW1000 headphones and stand. The headphones are in excellent condition except for a very fine mark on one cup. These are not rock phones(although they will) but excel at vocals and acoustic instruments. Bass is there but not the depth and amount that some might require. There's a slightly over the top review of the Yami/AT combo on 6 Moons. 6moons.com/audioreviews/yamamoto4/ha02.htmlAs you'd expect from Yamamoto the amp is beautifully built and the Japanese Cherry wood matches the ear cups on the W1000 phones. I purchased the amp direct from Yamamoto in Japan around Jan/Feb 2007 and is configured for NZ voltage. Looking for $1000 all up with free shipping.

Wow super bargain and a fantastic buy for someone GLWTS Indeed. Starting to have 2nd and 3rd thoughts about selling them even though logic dictates yes, heart is saying slow down and reconsider. If they appear on TM on Sunday head will have won other wise back onto the shelf.

If they appear on TM on Sunday head will have won other wise back onto the shelf. Morning Robin How often do you use this rig? Not very often. Put the amp into my bedroom system recently for a couple of weeks just to give it some use. Drove the Audeze LCD3 ok but compared to using the Oppo PM3 the amp lost a little high end detail. Definitely designed for the AT phones or Grados . I did have problems with noisy tubes for a while after I purchased it and Owen did test several for me. The tubes in the amp now are dead quiet. Problem was in the height of my headphones days I had 5 amps so some just got pushed to the back of the queue.

Agreed +++ I've heard this combo @ Cook's place. Unique synergy: absolute top drawer sound and exquisite aesthetics (photos don't do them full justice). I wish someone from our DL team picks this combo up!

Ok so yes I would pass it on to someone who will appreciate the system and use it regularly No good if its just gathering dust, GLWTS
