I have the following surplus to requirements LPs for sale. All are in excellent condition, some covers have glue failures, as noted, on edges. All have been cleaned on my ultrasonic RCM and placed in new anti static inner sleeves. Individually priced, plus postage. Will use NZ Post Parcels. Pick up in Mangonui, or meet, e.g. Kerikeri, Kaitaia.
1. Berlioz, Te Deum, LSO, Davis, gatefold album, Philips 6500 217, made in France, Grand Prix National Disque, Academie Du Disque; $15.
2, Bach, The Four Orchestral Suites, Academy of St Martin in the field, Marriner, EMI/HMV 27 0310 3, gatefold double lp set, recorded in London 1984, pressed in Germany 1985, direct metal mastering, but digital recording. Virtually mint condition. $20
3. Weber, Clarinet Concertos 1 & 2, Benny Goodman on clarinet, Chicago SO, Martinon, RCA Red Seal, LSC 3052, 1968. $6.
4. Traumereien am Kamin, DGG Favorit 2535 652, German pressing 1980, being popular concert excerpts from Bach, Mozart, Beethoven etc, bottom edge glue has partially failed, otherwise near mint; $5
5. Reich mid die Hand, mein Leben, DGG Favorit 2535 627, German pressing 1979, being popular classical songs by Dietrich Fisher-Dieskau, Rita Steich and others, works by Mozart, Puccini, and others, near mint, $7
6. Brahms, variations on a theme by Paganini; Schumann, Etudes Symphoniques, Geza Anda, Piano; Columbia 33CX1072, made in Great Britain, near mint, $10.
7. Marianne Clement, flute, Raul Sanchez guitar, Musique Suisse, originally on Gallo label, this is an NZ WRC issue from 1978, WR2321; $3
8. The Chieftans, 5; an Australian pressing on Interfusion Label L35689, gatefold cover, some glue failing on bottom edge and top edge has cellotape repair, record perfect. $5
9. The Best of Rod Stewart, double LP set in gatefold album, excellent condition, 1976 Mercury SRM-2-7507, appears to be a USA pressing, $10
10. Peter Blakeley, Harry’s Cafe de Wheels, recorded USA, pressed Australia, produced by Peter Asher and among the supporting muses is listed Linda Ronstadt! Capitol ST790412, $10
11. Tarot Suite, Mike Batt and friends, nice gatefold album, very good ++ condition, CBS ELPS 4020, nz pressing. $10
