One of the few motorcar designs of the fossil-fuel age that will still stir some excitement in years to come...

it's a shame Lamborghini (prior to audi) had always been on the financial knife edge. that lead to a dalliance with chrysler and this awful 25th anniversary edition, the last iteration of the countach. photo from the 2019 shannon car show

Seem to recall being somewhat underwhelmed by the recalcitrant gear change and it was a tad flat off the line. (Short drive and being gentle on the gear) Overriding memory is looking out of the car - imagine putting your head into the back of a letter box and looking out through the slot.
Interesting cars - extremely Italian with all that implies. I have a long standing admiration/fondness/weakness for cars Italian - the manufacture (Build may overstate the traditional quality) cars that can be driven and are able to cover large distances wit surprising ease. Have a Rosso Monza Integrale Evo (That really should be re homed)
Trust your ears.

My brother said when he worked in the tyre industry he met a chap from Italy who drove his Lamborghini Countach to work as a daily driver for 20 years!

the later countach was one of the first cars fitted with pirelli's revolutionary p7
longstone tyres uk have recreated the p7 as a modern replacement for oem fitments such as the countach.

My brother said when he worked in the tyre industry he met a chap from Italy who drove his Lamborghini Countach to work as a daily driver for 20 years! I bet it was the most reliable one on the planet. That's exactly the way to keep something like this in top order. I ride my so-called classic Italian motorcycle (it's just old) to work three times a week and it's reliable.
I like Harry's Garage! After the shambling and so obviously scripted and staged sausage-fest Toss Gear became, he's a breath of fresher air. Loved the drive to the arctic in a Silver Shadow.
