I love 'player pianos', ever since I heard a 'pianola' (player piano) play in the 1990s.

I remember back in the 90s(?) someone built an electrically-activated Bosendorfer & released a (vinyl) recording/s from old piano rolls.
There was lots of tweaking to deal with the paper dimensional changes over time & other such age-related problems, but it an exciting listen, as I recall. Does anyone recall? DarkLantern blog - darklanternforowen.wordpress.com

I haven't listened to the telarc disc properly but I'm not sure that I hear the pp/fff swells like in this recording at 17.25 for example.
