Nope wont have any effect on QC as that comes in at the record pressing stage. This is the machine used to make the master. I suspect they will be cutting from digital files rather than analogue tape ? Will be interested to hear some LP's from this process though. Any bets that the first one will be Kind of Blue ?
I also note that they have set it up for direct to disc recording as well. Memories of the old Sheffield labs direct to Disc Anyone ?
