Michael Fremer gives his considered verdict on this new stereo re-mix on vinyl (2LPs or 4LPs with Esher demos, editions): " My conclusion about this remix is that if you have an original British pressing that you love, you will still love that. If you have an open mind you will also love this re-mix. "

Fremer unboxes the 4LP set, discusses the contents, authenticity & detail of the packaging quality, the sound quality, pressing quality (" pressed at Optimal...absolutely perfect"), enthuses about the 'Esher demos' (" they're magical"). He brings out his own original British pressing purchased in 1968 (good story). Also shows the Deluxe CD box set with blu-ray 96k/24bit disc (" sounds better than CDs, no matter what some imbeciles...tell you!" featuring " a new transfer of the mono mix" & " really nice" hard-cover book. " It should be a really nice Beatles Christmas! "
