Well done Michael, yes one of the later Chimaera's. A year 2000, 450. She's had a few bits and bobs doing to her so has a smidgen under 300Hp, which according to most things I read and feel is 100 in 4 or 4.1 sec. The really exciting stuff happens from 60-70 KPH and over. Sounds amazing with straight through pipes and the cats removed. I have a video of a short blip through the Puhoi tunnel. If I can find it I'll share it just for a laugh. I've had 3 TVR's before and the Chimaera is a cruiser compared to some other TVR's.
I've owned over 100 sports cars, mostly as a younger guy in the UK and they were always daily drivers, except a Lancia Montecarlo that I took of the road for winter just in case it wasn't there when I went to get it one day, rust was a real problem. Fortunately this one is a weekender which allows me to break things and not to worry about time off the road.
Love it though, its just fun.

Always wanted to own a TVR Griffith (or a Morgan) but 2CVs are more affordable!

You've no idea how much I wanted an HPE. I loved the Montecarlo, possibly the 2nd most favorite car I've owned. But I just got tired of trying to keep it rust free. II was offered a swap for a rare Jag XJS manual that needed a clutch so jumped on that. I must have been nuts (been???), I lifted that engine on my own with a rope pulley! Was pooping myself every second as the V12 came out just mm clearance above the bodywork. I didn't know to reduce tyre pressure to drop the front at that stage, I was 21.. Ive never owned a Renault or Citroen for that matter. Not for any other reason than timing, what was available and when. I spent a bit of time looking for a Peugeot 504 Cabriolet. There is an old guy in my apartment block that has a Citroen BX. Its not in great condition but I can tell he loves it. I must have a blether with him some day.
