this is just taking the piss...
and the re-list of an oldie, it didn't sell for $4500 back in 2015, so hide it away for a few years and try again
Q - how does the disc stabilizer work as it covers the entire platter ?

Agree totally, the L07 guy is a local and I think that like last time he is just fishing for offers, i dont quite know why ? Perhaps some sort of insecurity complex coupled with mental health issues....

L07D's are highly sort after, and prices are generally around the NZ$5k plus mark internationally. NZ sales are around the $4k mark, so I really don't think his asking price is way off! Turntable prices seem to have risen proportionately along with the rise in software prices

what did it sell for last time ? oh right, it didn't.
the peculiarities of high end audio on tm... if something doesn't sell first time ... keep re-listing at same price or raise the price.
genius
from 2015...

Yup, he'd be more successful selling it overseas - USD4k seems to be asking price & it is rare. Not to mention the Disc Outer Stabiliser ring. However it appears that the original L-07D headshell (multi-layered anti-resonance design) is missing from the tonearm. In Japan, it seems to be almost unobtainium.

I have no problem with this strategy. Like anything 'esoteric' you sometimes just need the 'right' enthusiast to turn up. Worked for me with cars! Yes, need patience though & not be in a hurry. (Unfortunately the L-07D, from what I have seen, has a tendency for its electronics to die with age & there is only one experienced 'L-07D expert' that I know of, in USA.)

The 401 on Tm right now is way tooooo expensive. Its far from excellent condition by the photos in my book. Kenwood is wonderful but as Owen has stated repairs may be an issue

2 questions un answered would suggest 'maybe' something outside Tm going on..
