Not sure when that sold but I see "WILARD" every now and then.

2CV Fourgonnette. The Acadiane has a different front profile and is a later model.

Yeah, definitely a VW convertible and NOT a 2CV!
Easily mistaken 🤣

One for Mr C today on the sunny streets of invercargill. Saw this one again on the main street of invercargill yesterday. Driver was attempting a u turn at lights and almost ended up on the footpath. Steering lock not the greatest I'm assuming.

1986, and looks in pretty good nick, and only about 74,000 miles (~120kms).
But yes, the lower end would be normal pricing. Add buyers premium (15%) and GST and even 30k ends up $39k. $40 would be more like $52k, which could well be a NZ record price!

If my previous dealings with the French hold true it will be $600 with a lead time of 8 months and minimum order quantity of 3.

3 min seems reasonable. I once enquired of Bridgestone NZ on getting some special sticky JDM Potenza road tyres. They wanted a minimum buy of 11. Must have been Spinal Tap fans Uncle Google came up with this hit advantagetyres.co.nz/shop/michelin-x-125r15-125-80r15/
Overseas Longstone are the guys to go to for classic car tyres, the only place that could supply correct sized tyres for a friend's ur quattro
