Watched this yesterday and kept thinking "this guy's a nutter", and kept looking for his sleight of hand as he changes brushes or scrubbing technique to reveal hidden fungus/sugars/release agents

i have been subjected to a few sale spiels over the years. it's not the sleight of hand it's the explanation for what is observable coupled with an emotional pull to distract the intellect. the use of the term "soap" for the bubbles which appeared is a real heart grabber for someone who wants their records "clean". what a dumb*** you've got soap all over your record and YOU put it there.
produce a phenomenon that can be seen and give a pseudo-scientific explanation. fungus on a 2week old record, sugar in vinyl, release agents, bits of vinyl ...
