Looking around on YT and came across this Vic Chesnutt which is a fairly recent upload. Video and audio quality appears to be really good and it would be great to see the concert get a release at some time. Intense performance from Chesnutt and a long way from his early one man and a guitar records.
and on a more mellow note

Well that was interesting rmc001 - such a resonant, richly harmonic instrument? As a pianist, your thoughts?

Thanks. Brings to mind - the Condon piano rolls. I wonder if this is one of those same early pianos - as it seems to have a similar sonority(?).

Also whether Whitaker's museum still has the Bechstein concert grand Ignacy Jan Paderewski left here in 1903?

For beautiful piano music, still within the piano bass drums trio, I also like E.S.T.
This track from an album and their live one Live In Hamburg and others are worth listening to, IMHO.
Enjoy !

EST were an amazing trio. Their live performances seem to strike a chord with me. Live in Hamburg from 2007 is superb. Listening now to Live in Gothenburg released last year. Really nice slabs of the black stuff.

Really nice slabs of the black stuff. Thanks for that! I hadn't heard of or seen that live performance before! Playing now - familiar starting song, tune, of course. "black stuff" - you have vinyl of this, rather than an albeit perfect flac download, or some such? Or was "slabs of the black stuff" a metaphor? Regards!

25 Oct 2019, ACT 3xLP release (image from Discogs) RdM Live in London is also very good (but not as good as the above two) IMHO. But I only have it on the black stuff, not some albeit perfect flac download!
