why is this "intelligent" ?

i'd be in if it was non-contact playback.

the elp has been in productions for 20 years now.

if someone miniaturised the elp, replaced the expensive analogue processing with good sounding digital processing and wrapped it in a sleek package like the love, it would sell by the truckload.

LOVE maintains the intimacy and quality of vinyl records but adds modern day smart features, while keeping the crackles & pops.

Why would anyone want to keep crackles and pops and put it up as a selling point. I want my lps as quiet as possible, just the music, no surface noise.
