Ah, Oui! peut ĂȘtre, I was thinking more along the lines of Maurice Chevalier, in honour of la Petite deux cheveaux, or perhaps cue the Pink Panther theme More Edith Piaf - La Vie En Rose

Cassette lovers try Disc Den in Dunedin. They still have a wall covered in the things, most probably there since the 90s. My kids always have a giggle looking through them

I have some cassettes that just sound beautiful, âJesus and Mary Chainâ in particular but also jit is just a lovely piece of electronics which I can appreciate in itself! Welcome stuzzo - which Yamaha do you still have?

A lot of my cassettes were recorded off Radio 3 in UK, BBC recordings & direct classical broadcasts, from way back when I lived over there for a while.

Who ever it was that was trying to get $70 - 80 each for supposedly NOS chromes and metals started the trend I think. . But as these people keep listing, I assume someone does buy, and therefore has plenty of disposable.......

A couple of nice curiosities there M'sieur Citroen, the Walkman classics. I never bothered much with pre-records.. the quality was usually a bit average, but do have a couple of gems.....

Most of my cassettes are dubbed versions of other cassettes, or vinyl or off the radio. My most precious are the radio compilations I've made.

Most of mine were off Vinyl... to preserve the precious LP's when just casual listening ... and a bit later on.. from some CD's too, as recording onto tape seemed to take the sting out of some early CD renditions.

same. most of my tapes are diy - off lp, radio, other tapes (!) cd., back in the day a trip overseas always meant returning with a box or two of quality blank tapes.
