But then that brings up the whole dilemma, do you support/buy/boycott an artist that is flawed? Be very lean pickings if we boycotted flawed artists? Hasn’t most of humankind’s greatest art, incl. music, come from flawed artists? So far…never stopped me from buying, incl. Ryan Adams. and so also, the contrary dilemma: how would an artist protect their work from flawed punters? Listen carefully to this kiwi gem (per Bruize’s modus operandi: @ Concert Level) 2.02 “…But now they all stand back and shout Go on you creep, go on get out Oh my God what are they on about…” Indeed! And consequently recognising ‘sample size’ theory: i.e. if the sample size of people is large enough, every human flaw (and strength) will be evident within it. e.g. our Dark Lantern forum has approx. 200 members, a nice sample size to cover plenty of flaws… Haha, I’ll admit to a couple: I enjoy the humour/artistry of Frank Zappa: and I’m convinced I ‘levitate’ after 3/4 large single malts, probably listening to this:
"I see music as a lifetime affair." [Rory Gallagher]
"Free - I miss that band, but when I look back, we were very young" [Paul Rodgers]

200 sample size is pretty good to get statistically significant results...

Must be something even wronger with me then: I like 1989. I will now go and hide in shame....

Must revisit War On Drugs. Haven't listened to that one for a while now. But Deeper Understanding gets a few plays.

LILY KERSHAW - Arcadia
Downloaded from Tidal after watching the last ever episode of CRIMINAL MINDS, which ended with this song.
Album is good, not great but I do like it. She has a light gentle pop touch, with an engaging voice of an old soul.

KHRUANGBIN - Con Todo El Mundo
Middle eastern/Indian/Jamaican influenced laid back guitar based trip hop? Think Thievery Corporation but more guitar driven. Not really for critical listening, but an all round enjoyable album nevertheless. Made my walk in the sunshine this afternoon extremely relaxing!

I had it in my Norman Records cart, will never use wowhd ever again, and I thought Rarewaves was in US dollars so always discounted them.
Have you used rarewaves often?

Bought a few blurays from them that no one else had.
Eg. Jim Jarmusch's Only Lovers Left Alive and Solomon Kane in the correct aspect ratio
$25.98 - 10% first order discount + 5.86 shipping (NZD)
took just under 2 weeks to get here.

NZ$5.86 shipping is a joke! Remains the same price no matter how many you order. My cart is getting very top heavy, damn you Michael! And no GST either.

Sandy Denny, Who Knows Where the Time Goes, 4xlp box set on Island Records. Probably the first box to cover her career and still worthwhile despite the excellence of the sets that followed.

perfect for a wet southern day. Real country music. I've just discovered Sturgill Simpson - Metamodern Sounds in Country Music I must be getting old! As I never thought a decade ago that I would like jazz (or country) but now most of my listening is jazz. And now a smattering of country!

I’m listening to “Original Pirate Material” by the Streets on Tidal. I’m not a huge fan of Rap but this is an exception/Mike Skinner recorded a masterpiece 20 years ago.

Great record as well Citroen I'm surprised you found it in vinyl: as far as I remember back in the dark days of 2000s they weren't done in vinyl.
