Project cop quite a lot of flack at times for problems with some of their entry level models but you can never accuse them of standing still or lacking enthusiasm. If there's the slightest crack in the market they'll be there with a pry bar. Good on them.

For some reason, I always used to think that Pro-Ject were British - but they are based in Austria.

And made in Czechoslovakia, or rather now-a-days the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

You probably thought they were British because it really looks like they initially copied British designs. Uummmm, I mean were inspired by the best of British designs...
