Hi jon, The arm mount comes bead-blasted, so gold plating will come out satin. With this batch, the numbers have meant that cost has worked out NZ$210 ea (~USD140) Unfortunately, the complex shape has meant a number of hand processes - making a 'fixture' base instead of just clamping it into the machine, using a reference probe & separate datum, having to 'flip' the piece in order to machine both sides, etc, etc.

For those awaiting a shorter Terminator arm mount (eg for non-TransFi TTs) & with the Xmas rush over in the machine shop, we've just finished a batch of 27mm height mounts: And, after bead-blasted finishing: Finished weight is now only 213gms. The 3D 'swept' side profile, originally to suit the TransFi Salvation TT plinth, has been removed & is now straight-sided. Overall, some reduction in machining time & material qty, so cost has also come down a little.

Ah yes, good. However, oxidation/tarnishing, machining marks, finger marks... Comparison of the original 45mm design & the short 27mm version...
