Hi Gary klaatu - genuinely sad to hear about that, I wondered as I tried to check in yesterday & they were offline.

I've no idea Citroen, I parted ways with Witchdoctor (along with Steel and Kramer) a few years ago - maybe Ash would know - there were some good threads on the forum that's for sure. It's all about bums on seats Owen, there was a 'hard core' bunch of forumers on the site but growth was slow - and then it stopped, eventually ebbing away to a couple of posts per week. What got the guys really interested were things like get togethers (I had one at my place, about 15 audio 'moths' were attracted to the bright hi-fi lights).There was talk of getting a classic album Sunday afternoon going once a month, but that's when I decided to get out of Dodge City so to speak. It also surprised me that the headphone subforum didn't take off, I thought it was a growing part of the hi-fi universe especially among the hipster set! Attracting new members is the answer of course, maybe a sister page on Facebook could get them in? It's all hard work though, and no one's getting paid for it!! KLAATU BERADA FUCTO

Actually I didn't even know that witchdoctor had a forum, as far as I was aware it was just a Turned on audio "independent" review site. My mistake.

Oddly, maybe importantly, the forums was not linked to the Witchdoctor magazine page - unless I was mistaken.

Both the main site and forum were started with the best of intentions tbh, but every now and again a weird vibe would descend on the forum. Some of us audio nuts are a touch thin skinned so it seems
